"The 9/11 Anniversary: Looking Back & Looking Ahead"

9/11 Video Where were you when the world stopped turning: Three UCCS staff members who played important roles in the days following the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks as members of the armed forces recently shared their impressions of the events of 9/11 and also their views of the future.

In “The 9/11 Anniversary: Looking Back & Looking Forward,” Kurt Johnson, Director, Center for Homeland Security, Ed Anderson, Executive Director, Strategic Military, Science, Space and Security Initiatives, and Michael Noll, Instructor, Center for Homeland Security share their views and perspectives based on their current positions as well as their previous roles. During the 9/11 attacks, Johnson was the senior legal advisor to the Commander of Navy and Marine Corps forces in the Middle East; Anderson was Deputy Commander of U. S. Space Command and Vice Commander of the U.S. Element NORAD; and Noll was Director of Intelligence for U. S. Space Command and NORAD.
