Try-out Timeline

The timeline is tentative and flexible and will be altered deeming the needs of the coach with time considerations allotted for the size of the tryout based on the number of applicants. Please bring snack foods and items that help your comfort. This can be a stressful time and it is best you are confident, well fed and comfortable.
 Tuesday May 4, 2010 from 7:30-9:00 PM Colorado Elite All star Gym off of Garden of the Gods Road in Colorado Springs

• Optional Open Gym
  • This time is intended to be a welcoming time for new applicants as well as a question and answer session. A cheer floor is available for those who want to practice jumps, tumbling and stunting.
  • The coach will be talking with applicants
  • Program procedures and try-out procedures will be discussed if needed
  • Don’t worry if you cannot make this session as all information and coach contact will continue through the whole tryout

Thursday May 6, 2010 from 6:30-9:00 PM Colorado Elite All Star Gym off of Garden of the Gods Road in Colorado Springs

• First Day of Try-out
  • Cheer will be taught
  • Chants will be taught
  • Jump Evaluation
  • First cuts (if needed)
  • Introduction to stunting and practice
  • Review

Saturday May 8, 2010 from 2:00-7:00 PM Colorado Elite All Star Gym

• Final Day of Try-out
  • Final preparations and review
  • Final evaluations

Please bring snacks and plenty of water. There will be short breaks as necessary. Try-outs are closed to the public.
