Now is the time to test out the waters. Once you have found a major that you believe will fit you, it's time to experience it.  Keep in mind that one major can lead to a diversity of careers, and that it is okay to change your mind as you learn more about the choices available to you.  Make sure to visit with an academic advisor to officially declare your major!

Find an Internship
Internships are a great way to get formal experience in your field.

Volunteer
Volunteering can help you in a multitude of ways.  

Participate in a research project.
Seek out a faculty member who is conducting research that is of interest to you. 

Consider Graduate School
Is graduate school right for you?

Consider a Double Major, Minor, or a certificate program
Check with an academic advisor, to make sure you will still be able to finish your program in four years.

There are ways to combine varied interests through minors, certificate programs, electives, graduate study!
