ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

General Information:

Electricity has been a subject of scientific interest since at least the seventeenth century, but it was not until the nineteenth century that research into the subject started to intensify. Electrical engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the study and application of electricity and electromagnetism. The field first came to prominence in the late nineteenth century with the installation of the first large-scale electrical supply networks. Since then the field has grown dramatically and today the products of electrical engineering can be found across the world.

Students in the UCCS Electrical Engineering Program will learn how to design complex integrated circuits used extensively in today’s technology.
