GENERAL BUSINESS

General Information:

The UCCS College of Business Administration was established in 1965. It provides students with the knowledge, skills, and ethical framework to be effective leaders and managers in the competitive contemporary business environment.

The Business Program requires the student to choose an area of emphasis from Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Human Resource Management, Information Systems, Marketing, Professional Golf Management, Organizational Management and Service Management.

Career Possibilities:

Because business is such a huge part of today's culture, there are many jobs available for students with business degrees. Depending on the area of emphasis chosen, more doors will open. A business minor can also be a great asset when complemented with another major as it provides skills that virtually every company in the world will be looking for.
