NO SHOW POLICY FOR ON CAMPUS INTERVIEWING

Any student or alumni who does not show up for an interview, or does not give at least 2 business days notice of cancellation, is considered a "no show."  Not showing up for an interview is extremely disrespectful to the employer, who has set aside time to hire specifically a UCCS student or alumni.  It also does not allow the Career Center enough time to fill the interview slot with another qualified candidate.  As a result, an employer may choose to not visit UCCS for their employment needs again.

One no-show results in an immediate block from all Career Center fairs, information sessions, and interview days.  In order to re-gain access to Career Center events, the "no show" student is required to send an apology letter or email to the employer AND to the Career Center.  After reinstatement of access to Career Center events, an additional "no show" will result in a block from all Career Center events, for one full year.
