SPECTRUM is a student run organization at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Our mission is to provide a means of social interaction, support, community involvement and visibility for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community and their supporters. We do this by organizing and participating in campus-wide activates such as National Coming Out Day, organizing round-table discussions and having a good time. In addition we provide educational materials to help fight homophobia. SPECTRUM tries to work closely with the LGBTQ community and other LGBTQ college organizations in the Colorado Springs area to help us in our mission
