On September 23, 2003, SEAS, in conjunction with Campus Activities Board, hosted its first event on the UCCS: "Reduce the Juice: Creating a Sustainable UCCS" From 10am to 3pm, students visited
vendors and watched demonstrations, enjoyed food donated by Wild Oats
Market and Chipotle, listened to music, signed up for free giveaways, and
learned about the benefits of implementing sustainable practices on the
campus.
The energy reduction focus of the event was highlighted by a campus wide Light Switch Sticker
Campaign. Paws To Save Power.
