June 30 - July 3: Sports and Activities Camp

Ages: 9-12 years

Cost: $120 for UCCS Affiliates; $140 for Non-Affiliates

The camp will be designed to give participants exposure to a wide variety of sports and activities, stressing the basic skills and knowledge to safely participate in the activities. The focus on the camp will be participation for fun and fitness, not advanced skill development or competition. Camp activities will range from traditional sports activities like basketball and volleyball to water sports to non-traditional activities like horseshoes and Frisbee.

July 7 - July 10: Outdoor Outings Camp

Ages: 12-16 years

Cost: $150 for UCCS Affiliates; $170 for Non-Affiliates

This day camp will expose participants to a series of day trips centered around providing an outdoor recreation experience for the campers. An emphasis will be placed on developing the skills necessary to perform the activity safely. Activities presented will include: hiking, canoeing, rock climbing, and wildlife viewing and identification.

July 28 - July 31: Recreation and Activities Camp

Ages: 7-11 years

Cost: $120 for UCCS Affiliates; $140 for Non-Affiliates

A week long day camp that will give participants the chance to participate in a variety of sports and recreational activities. Camp emphasis will be on broad exposure to a variety of activities, with fun and safety stressed more than competition or advanced skill development. Activities offered will include: swimming, basketball, hiking, arts and crafts, theater, and movie watching.

The Daily Schedule For The Three Camps Is:

8:30 - 9:00 a.m. Drop-Off Kid(s)

9:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. Camp

4:30 - 5:00 p.m. Pick-up Kid(s)

  1. Complete Camp Registration Form.

  2. Complete Medical History and Treatment Form.

  3. Complete Informed Consent Form.

  4. Mail all three forms and check payable to:
