The Mountain Lion Volleyball program is a fairly new program. It began in the late 1980’s as a club program which quickly turned into an NCAA division II sport for the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. The program has transitioned through several mascots including the Longnecks, the UCCS Gold, and the current Mountain Lions. Mountain Lion Volleyball continues to strive for greater success year after year. This past year the Mountain Lion squad participated in the RMAC tournament for the fourth straight season. The team also competed in the NCAA Southwest Regional Tournament finishing in the top 50 ranked teams in the nation.
