ABOUT OUR CAMPS
The UCCS Softball Camp is designed to introduce, instruct and train the younger player and help develop the skills of the more advance High School and Club/Travel Player. With High School Softball being played in the Fall in Colorado we expect to get those players ready for their upcoming season and for the try-out sessions they will get in early August. We have had great success over the last 6 years with our camp and expect that to continue. Adding the experience of 3 college coaches to our staff will diversify the training even more than years past.
ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
The UCCS Softball Team has been one of the most successful Division II programs over the last 6 years. With a record of 162-94, 5 straight RMAC tournament appearances, a National Ranking of #10 in 2004 and a Pre-Season Ranking of #7 in 2005 we strongly feel our team has arrived on the National Stage. The UCCS Softball Team has also been in the top 5 in Homeruns and Batting average the last 3 years. UCCS has also been one of the best base stealing teams the last two years with 120 stolen bases in 2007. UCCS has also had 3 of the last 4 RMAC Players of the Year, two Pitchers of the Year, and five Division II All Americans,as well as 32 RMAC All-Conference Players..
