The College of Business Alumni Association has several areas of emphasis, and has created teams to support its goals. If you are interested in serving with one of these teams, please contact Jana Hyde through the contact box below.
NetworkingCommunity Outreach
More than 60% of our 7000 graduates live along the Front
Range, creating the potential for a powerful advocate for business in
the Pikes Peak region. This team is focused on connecting community
business leaders with the College of Business, through programs like
Executives in the Classroom and Dialogues with the Dean.
Leadership Development
The College of Business Alumni Association has strong
leadership, and we want to maintain that strength by developing new
leaders. This group works in tandem with the other teams to indentify
and recruit those who will bring fresh ideas and a desire to serve to
the organization, ensuring its future.
Mentoring
One of the key goals of the College of Business Alumni Association is
to help students build their career success. The mentoring program
pairs a student with an experienced business person, usually an alum,
for exploration of career choices and guidance in the transition from
student to business professional.
Funding the Renaissance
This team focuses on how to fund the objectives of the College of
Business Alumni Association, from recruiting sponsors for events and
newsletters to soliciting the investment of fellow alumni. If you
receive communication from the alumni association or attend an event,
this group has helped make it possible.
Communications
Working with all teams to communicate our activities and news, this team contributes to our monthly e-newsletter, Open for Business, works on publicity and event invitations, and boosts our web presence through Facebook and LinkedIn.
