Mentoring
We pair students and recent grads with alumni and business leaders from their communities to help them make the transition from college student to business professional. - The program is open to juniors, seniors, MBA students, and recent graduates of the UCCS College of Business.
- Potential mentees complete the mentee application and return it to the alumni office.
- Alumni Relations office interviews each applicant and recommends which students will be accepted into the program.
- Once the mentee application has been accepted into the program, the Alumni Relations office will contact the Mentoring Team to request a mentor that matches the needs and interests of the mentee.
- Mentor and mentee receive and read expectations.
- Alumni Relations office will set up introductions between mentors and mentees.
- Mentor and mentee meet and begin mentoring relationship.
- Program evaluation survey sent to mentor and mentee every six months.
- Program refined through feedback from mentors and mentees.
