Student Financial Services - Calendar

Spring 2009

December 1	Spring 2009 web registration begins.
December 27	First Student Bills Tuition and fee charges start to appear on student accounts. E-bills are uploaded for students who register before this day (due January 9). Login to the student online center to view E-bills at Student Online Center, then click on the Finances tab at the bottom of the screen, then the Account Balance tab. EXCEPTION: Students receiving financial aid or tuition assistance through UCCS will be billed on January 17 (due March 13).
January 9	First Due Date BEFORE 5pm, students who enroll on or before this day must pay their balance in-full or enroll in a deferred payment plan; otherwise, late fines may be applied. Click on Payment Policies and go to Option 2 to read about the deferred payment plan option. EXCEPTION: Students receiving financial aid or tuition assistance through UCCS are due March 13.
January 9	Late Enrollment AFTER 5pm, students who wish to enroll must either pay in-full or sign up for the $335 pre-payment plan. Click on Bill Estimator to estimate your bill. Click on Payment Policies and go to Option 3 to read about the pre-payment option.
January 10	Student Bills E-bills are uploaded for students registering on or before January 9. Login to the student online center to view E-bills at Student Online Center, then click on the Finances tab at the bottom of the screen, then the Account Balance tab. EXCEPTION: Students receiving financial aid or tuition assistance through UCCS will be billed on January 17 (due March 13).
January 13	First Financial Aid Disbursement Students who applied for financial aid though UCCS will start receiving that aid. Disbursements may be delayed based on application date and application processing time. Direct deposits happen within 24 hours.
January 14	Disenrollment Students may be disenrolled for non-payment.
January 15	Late Fines AFTER 5pm, late fines will be applied to past due balances.
January 16	Student Bills E-bills will be uploaded for students on the 40-30-30 deferred payment plan and for students with past due balances. Login to the student online center to view E-bills at Student Online Center, then click on the Finances tab at the bottom of the screen, then the Account Balance tab.
January 17	Student Bills E-bills will be uploaded for students on financial aid or tuition assistance. Login to the student online center to view E-bills at Student Online Center, then click on the Finances tab at the bottom of the screen, then the Account Balance tab.
January 19	Martin Luther King Day Holiday - University is closed
January 20	Classes Begin Faculty and Staff using waivers may now register for those classes.
February 4	Census Last day to add classes. Last day to drop classes or withdraw for 100% refund.
February 13	Second Due Date For students on the deferred payment plan, the second payment is due this day.
February 13	Last day to drop classes or withdraw for 80% refund.
February 16	Late Fines AFTER 5pm, late fines will be applied to past due balances.
February 18	Student Bills E-bills will be uploaded for students with past due balances. Login to the student online center to view E-bills at Student Online Center, then click on the Finances tab at the bottom of the screen, then the Account Balance tab.
February 19	Student Bills E-bills will be uploaded for students on financial aid or tuition assistance, and for students on the 40-30-30 deferred payment plan. Login to the student online center to view E-bills at Student Online Center, then click on the Finances tab at the bottom of the screen, then the Account Balance tab.
February 27	Last day to drop classes or withdraw for 60% refund. After this date, no refunds will be given except by appeal.
March 13	Final Due Date To avoid late fines, all students must pay any remaining balance in-full.
March 16	Late Fines AFTER 5pm, late fines will be applied to past due balances.
March 18	Student Bills E-bills will be uploaded for students with past due balances. Login to the student online center to view E-bills at Student Online Center, then click on the Finances tab at the bottom of the screen, then the Account Balance tab.
March 23-29	Spring Break
May 8	Short-term loans due in full.
May 15	Last day for Colorado students to apply for and authorize College Oppurtunity Fund (COF) to help pay tuition. Visit the COF website for application and authorization details.
May 18	Spring semester ends.
