Student Financial Services - Calendar

Fall 2008

May 5	Fall 2008 web registration begins.
July 26	First Student Bills Fall charges start to appear on student accounts. E-bills are uploaded for students who register before this day (due August 15). Paper bills are mailed the following day. Login to the student online center to view E-bills at Student Online Center, then click on the Finances tab at the bottom of the screen, then the Account Balance tab. EXCEPTION: Students receiving financial aid or tuition assistance through UCCS will be billed on August 23 (due October 17).
August 15	First Due Date BEFORE 5pm, students who enroll on or before this day must pay their balance in-full or enroll in a deferred payment plan; otherwise, late fines may be applied. Click on Payment Policies and go to Option 2 to read about the deferred payment plan option. EXCEPTION: Students receiving financial aid or tuition assistance through UCCS are due October 17.
August 15	Late Enrollment AFTER 5pm, students who wish to enroll must either pay in-full or sign up for the $335 pre-payment plan. Click on Bill Estimator to estimate your bill. Click on Payment Policies and go to Option 3 to read about the pre-payment option.
August 16	Student Bills E-bills are uploaded for students registering on or before August 15. Login to the student online center to view E-bills at Student Online Center, then click on the Finances tab at the bottom of the screen, then the Account Balance tab. EXCEPTION: Students receiving financial aid or tuition assistance through UCCS will be billed on August 23 (due October 17).
August 19	First Financial Aid Disbursement Students who applied for financial aid though UCCS will start receiving that aid. Disbursements may be delayed based on application date and application processing time. Direct deposits happen within 24 hours. Printed checks take 2-3 business days to be mailed.
August 20	Disenrollment Students may be disenrolled for non-payment.
August 20	Late Fines AFTER 5pm, late fines will be applied to past due balances.
August 22	Student Bills E-bills will be uploaded for students on the 40-30-30 deferred payment plan and for students with past due balances. Paper bills will be mailed the following day. Login to the student online center to view E-bills at Student Online Center, then click on the Finances tab at the bottom of the screen, then the Account Balance tab.
August 23	Student Bills E-bills will be uploaded for students on financial aid or tuition assistance. Paper bills will be mailed the following day. Login to the student online center to view E-bills at Student Online Center, then click on the Finances tab at the bottom of the screen, then the Account Balance tab.
August 25	Classes Begin Faculty and Staff using waivers may now register for those classes.
September 1	Labor Day Holiday - University is closed
September 11	Census Last day to add classes. Last day to drop classes or withdraw for 100% refund.
September 19	Second Due Date For students on the deferred payment plan, the second payment is due this day.
September 19	Last day to drop classes or withdraw for 80% refund.
September 22	Late Fines AFTER 5pm, late fines will be applied to past due balances.
September 23	Student Bills E-bills will be uploaded for students with past due balances. Paper bills will be mailed the following day. Login to the student online center to view E-bills at Student Online Center, then click on the Finances tab at the bottom of the screen, then the Account Balance tab.
September 24	Student Bills E-bills will be uploaded for students on financial aid or tuition assistance, and for students on the 40-30-30 deferred payment plan. Paper bills will be mailed the following day. October 3	Last day to drop classes or withdraw for 60% refund. After this date, no refunds will be given except by appeal.
October 17	Final Due Date To avoid late fines, all students must pay any remaining balance in-full.
October 20	Late Fines AFTER 5pm, late fines will be applied to past due balances.
October 21	Student Bills E-bills will be uploaded for students with past due balances. Paper bills will be mailed the following day. Login to the student online center to view E-bills at Student Online Center, then click on the Finances tab at the bottom of the screen, then the Account Balance tab.
December 12	Short-term loans due in full.
December 19	Last day for Colorado students to apply for and authorize College Oppurtunity Fund (COF) to help pay tuition. Visit the COF website for application and authorization details.
December 20	Fall semester ends.
