Access Instructions SPRING 2010
NOTE: Beginning SP10, the UCCS campus will begin the transition to the BlackBoard Learning Managment System. Please check back for a list of courses that will use Bb in SP10
Please note that
the official class start date for all Beth-El College SPRING 2010 online courses is Tuesday, January 19th unless otherwise indicated . Check the UCCS Schedule of Courses
to verify your course start date! You will have access to your online course on the official
class start date beginning at 12:01 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time.
- Access your course from any computer anywhere 24/7 at http://www.uccs.edu/online/login.htm.
- Uername = UCCS Student ID number entered with no hyphens or spaces
- Password = UCCS (use all caps for password). (You may change your online course password at any time by logging in and then clicking on the User Profile tab.
- Your course syllabus will be available when you log into your course on the first day of class.
- You will need to purchase your textbooks and/or reading packets BEFORE your class(es) begins. Course Textbook(s) and Reading Packet Lists can be found at http://www.uccs.edu/bethel/textbooks.htm .
- Check the UCCS Bookstore web site to determine if your instructor ordered textbooks there. Go to http://www.uccsbookstore.com/home.aspx and then click on the Textbooks link. If you do not see your textbook(s) listed, feel free to use any source of your choice to purchase textbooks.
- Your UCCS E-MAIL ADDRESS is the e-mail that will be used for your online course.
- Go to http://webmail.uccs.edu to log in and check your UCCS e-mail.
- Directions on how to access your UCCS e-mail are located on the login page.
- Update your anti-virus definitions frequently.
- You may need to disable any ad blocking software to access your course.
- Once you have successfully logged into the course site, all technical support is provided by e-College in Denver: 24/7 Help Desk: 303.873.0005 or e-mail helpdesk@uccsonline.net
- If this is your FIRST ONLINE COURSE at Beth-El College, go through the ".NEXT Student Orientation Tutorial" course after you log in.
- For answers to questions about your course content, the syllabus, textbooks or reading lists, contact the instructor for your course AFTER the course start date. All instructor contact information is in the course syllabus.
