Accelerated BSN Program

Background Check Policy

This 16 month nursing program is designed for individuals who hold a Bachelor's degree in another field and wish to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN). All required general education courses MUST be completed prior to entrance into this program.

Computer Science: Students are expected to have basic computer skills (keyboarding, word processor, presentation, e-mail, internet research) upon entering Beth-El. If not, students can take an introduction to computers course for 3 credit hours.

Applications for the class that begins May 2008 will be accepted Jan 2, 2008 - March 7, 2008.

Classes will begin 05/19/2008 at 8:00 a.m. and will continue throughout the summer. Throughout the program, some classes will be scheduled as early as 6:45 a.m. and some classes will end as late as 6:00 p.m. Most semesters, classes and clinicals run every day of the week INCLUDING WEEKENDS, therefore students will need to CAREFULLY examine the the tenative schedule attached to the program acceptance letter.

  • In addition to the UCCS undergraduate application form, all applicants MUST include a one page typewritten essay according to the guidelines specified in the form linked below.

  • Overall grade point average (GPA) for ALL previously completed course work must be 3.3 or higher in order to be considered for this program

  • Send the completed undergraduate application, required essay (updated 10.15.2007) , and official transcripts including those courses currently in progress directly to:
