The Adult Nurse Practitioner Certificate is awarded upon completion of 26 credit hours and prepares the student for the Nurse Practitioner certification examination. 

The courses that address content and issues related to Gerontology can be taken with the Nurse Practitioner option or alone for a Gerontology Certificate.

Curriculum Plan

The Post-Masters Gerontology Certificate Program focuses on the empirical, aesthetic, personal, ethical and sociopolitical knowledge to function as an advanced practice nurse.
