Annual Assessment Related Activities

September	SAAC sends memo to academic units requesting progress report on assessment activities for previous academic year.
November	Units submit assessment progress reports to SAAC by November 1st.
February-May	The National Survey on Student Engagement and The Consortium for the Study of Writing in College is administered to randomly selected first-year students and senior by the Office of Institutional Research as part of the General Education Assessment Process. Even Years Only
February-May	ETS Proficiency Profile testing of Senior students in the Spring of 2011 and First-Year students in the Fall of 2011 by the Assessment Office, as part of the General Education Assessment Process. Odd Years Only
November-January	SAAC members evaluate Assessment Progress Reports
April	SAAC Comments on Academic Assessment Progress Reports are returned to the departments.
