Welcome to the JAC (Japanese Anime Club) webpage! We are a small organization promoting interests in both anime and culture. We try to meet every Friday, see our activities page for specific details.
Meeting Time:
Every Friday from 4:45pm to 8:45pm in UC 122 except for school breaks and Summer. Sometimes we will be in UC 303 on a special occasion. In that case we will leave some kind of notice pointing you in the right direction.Updates:
07/02/09: Hope everyone is having a good and enjoyable Summer so far.
There is a get together planned on Sat 7/11 starting at 11:00am and going until 3:00pm at a member's house. There is a neighborhood pool as well. So bring you bathing suit & suscreen, a food item and of course, your anime. Please RSVP by Fri 7/6 at 5:30. The host will supply the meat tray and bread. Location will be sent later.
Details of the location will be e-mailed towards the end of the next week.
05/08/09 : We didn't meet until 7pm but watched a few Anime episodes including Great Teacher Onizuka. We plan on meeting next week but won't start until 6 or 7pm for the last time this school year. There are plans for a few Summer Anime meetings and even do some things differently such as possible offsites.
05/01/09 : Finished watching Black Blood Brothers and watched a film - Arimtage III and then discussed future and new officers. Andrew Parker will be the new club president.
04/24/09 : We watched Black Blood Brothers and also discussed the future of JAC. We discussed various subjects concerning changes. One of the ideas is get togethers to do other things besides watch anime such as going for Sushi, COS play and other things. We also discussed changes in leadership and that is continuing. If there are other ideas, please don't hesitate in dropping us a line.
