UCCS professor to participate in religious discussion. UCCS's Jeff Scholes will participate in a discussion regarding religious belief at Colorado College on the evening of May 5. (More) Shockley-Zalabak earns community trustee award. Chancellor Pam Shockley-Zalabak was selected as the 2011 recipient of the Makepeace Community Trustee Award by Leadership Pikes Peak. Alex Soifer, professor, Interdepartmental Studies, presented "A Proof from The Book: A Lower Bound of the Polychromatic Number of the Plane" at the 42nd Southeastern International Conference on Combinatorics, Graph Theory, and Computing at Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Fla. Theatreworks offers Russian classic. Theatreworks will present its rendition of the classic play "The Seagull" April 21-May 8 in the Dusty Loo Bon Vivant Theater in University Hall. The Denver Times quoted UCCS faculty member Jim Burkhart in Radon levels untested in some schools Tom Christensen returning to faculty. Student Employee of the Year brings innovation to Department of Corrections. Ryan Hollamby, graduate student, Department of Geography and Environmental Studies, became this year's UCCS Student Employee of the Year, after introducing technology used in geography to the Colorado Department of Corrections.
