Welcome to the Writing Center OWL.

This site is designed to bring writers and peer readers together. We will help you at any stage of the writing process, from brainstorming to revising. By providing information about the assignment, a description of your audience, and directions on the aspects of your paper on which you would like us to focus, you will give us the information we need to respond to your writing.

Please Review the Writing Center policies regarding OWLs:

• The Writing Center aims to respond to submissions within 24 hours; however, because of the quantity of daily submissions, the Writing Center cannot guarantee a turnaround time. Plese submit your paper to the OWL well in advance of the paper's due date.
• The Writing Center will respond to no more than 5 pages per submission.
• If you have a paper that is longer than 5 pages, please specify the pages you would like reviewed.
• Each paper can be reviewed 2 times through the OWL system. You may seek additional feedback in the Writing Center.
  
• Students may submit 1 paper per day.

Disclaimer: If you have not received a confirmation of your submission, via email, the Writing Center has not received your submission. Also, if your email address is misspelled, you will not receive a confirmation of your submission, or a response from the Writing Center. If you use a Gmail or Yahoo account, Writng Center communications may be marked as "spam." The Writing Center recommends that you use your UCCS email account to submit papers.
