Food Service Advisory Board

Jeff Davis opened the meeting at 9:38 a.m. Meeting minutes were distributed.
Approval of minutes from March 11, 2005. A motion to approve minutes by Greg Soukup. Motion approved.
Business Program. A nutrition program is being implemented for Sodexho. Warren and Kate Campbell will be working together on getting a kiosk for nutritional explanation of meals served. It will be able to print labels for the Grab and Go items. Hopefully, this will be available in Fall 2005. Greg noted that Shawn Finnegan, Sodexho regional manager is very excited about this program. Greg noted that Sodexho is working with the School of Business on this program.
Grill. The plexi-glass around the grill will be replaced between the Spring and Summer 2005 semesters.
Summer School Hours. Greg is working on bringing materials to Jeff about hours of operation for Summer semester. He would like to see Freshëns staying open longer.
Door Counts vs. Class Patterns: Greg noted that there is a direct correlation between the numbers found on the door counts and the times that classes typically start and end. Greg would like to heavily market during these hours. He is suggesting a change of the Coffee Cart hours to better service when students are arriving and leaving classes.
Residential: Jeff noted that there is an online survey regarding food satisfaction, which will be targeting a different building each month.
