Below you will find information about Transfer Admission Criteria by College. Please note that most of the information is relevant to students transferring from another school in Colorado. Earn a C- or better in all courses |

GPA needed to transfer |
Achieve a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better, including all remedial and repeated courses. Note: Students with GPAs of 2.0 or better also may apply to the College of
Business and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Students who are not initially
admissible to the College of Business will be considered for admission to the College of
Letters, Arts & Sciences (LAS) until they meet certain grade, course and GPA
requirements. At that time, they may transfer to the College of Business.

If you are transferring from a Colorado Community or Junior College after completing a
degree, an Associate of Arts (A.A.) with an emphasis in Business is preferred. |

NURSING: Achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or better; UCCS includes ALL courses in
the GPA. Students with GPAs of 2.0 or better also may apply. However, they will
be considered for admission to the College of Letters, Arts & Sciences (LAS) until they
meet the College of Nursing grade, course and GPA requirements. At that time, they
may transfer to nursing or health care science. HEALTH CARE SCIENCE: Achieve a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better; UCCS includes ALL
courses in the GPA. Students with GPAs of 2.0 or better also may apply.
However, they will be considered for admission to the College of Letters, Arts &
Sciences (LAS) until they meet the College of Nursing grade, course and GPA
requirements. At that time, they may transfer to nursing or health care science.
