Kotaro Shoji, Ph.D.

Research Associate



Dr. Kotaro Shoji is a research associate at Trauma, Health, and Hazards Center. He joined the THHC in 2012 after he earned his Ph.D. in social and health psychology from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in May 2012, earned his Masters degree in experimental psychology from California State University, Fullerton in 2007, and earned his Bachelors degree in psychology from California State University, Fullerton in 2005. Dr. Shoji's research interests include trauma, stress, and psychophysiological reactions of stress and trauma. He currently works on the SupportNet project where he is focused on secondary trauma among mental health care providers.
