This private practice group is a leader in “technology-assisted treatment” to reduce treatment time for healing from psychological trauma. Treatment is provided for combat-related trauma, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), anxiety disorders, mood disorders, anger management problems, and domestic violence perpetrators. Using online system to supplement outpatient treatment that focuses on self-efficacy and trauma/disaster recovery.
Adjunct Professor, University of the Rockies – currently teaching doctoral-level courses in family systems and assessment. Provide clinical supervision for Rockies Counseling Center practicum students.
Warrior Support Center (July 2009 – April 2011) – Chief Clinical Psychologist: Part of the founding management team for this start-up, psychological trauma center focused on military personnel and their families. Provided program development and mental health services to active duty soldiers, mental health providers, retired service members, children, and families. Treated combat- and non-combat related trauma treatment using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), provided clinical supervision for pre- and post-doctoral clinicians, psychological testing and assessment and coordination of care with military on-post providers, case managers, and medication providers primarily with the US Army at Ft. Carson.
First Choice Counseling Center, Aspen Pointe (formerly Pikes Peak Behavioral Health Group) (August 2008 – September 2009) – Provided evidence-based mental health services to soldiers and civilian adults, families, and children. Experience includes individual and couples therapy, trauma treatment, treatment planning, case management, and crisis intervention. Provided clinical supervision to pre- and post-doctoral clinicians. Developed and implemented program for peer support for EMDR practitioners.
Colorado West Regional Mental Health (September 2006 – August 2008) – Pre and Post-doc positions. Provided mental health services for the child & family outpatient division. Clients represent a culturally diverse population. Experience includes therapy, treatment planning, case management, and crisis intervention as well as individual and group outpatient therapy for adolescents, families, couples, parents, trauma treatment using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), psychoeducation programs for parents with conduct disordered children and for improving communication between parents and their adolescent children using Adolescent Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT), and testing and assessment including intelligence, personality, family functioning, and marital satisfaction assessments.
Switzer Counseling Center (April 2004 – July 2005) – Worked in this clinic as part of the practicum for the PsyD program. This clinic provides mental health services to uninsured adults, couples, and families who would not otherwise be able to obtain services. Experience includes direct services to adults, families, couples, and adolescents

Developed and implemented center-wide policies and procedures for outpatient and partial hospitalization programs, provided leadership and coaching for Directors of Operations, Adult Services, Alternative Therapies, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and Child & Family Services. Developed and implemented programs for clinical outcomes, program assessment, employee and client satisfaction measures, including program assessments for Anger Management program, Yoga-based Trauma Regulation program, and PHP. Made briefings to Army personnel at Ft Carson regarding outcomes measures and treatment models. Developed and facilitated a team-building exercise with mental health clinicians to develop the company’s vision and mission.
Catalyst Partners (1994 to 2006) - President and Co-Founder: Provided consultative services to start-up and emerging software, information technology and venture capital companies. Developed and delivered strategic planning workshops for executive teams to help them develop an executable market and product strategy. Provided interim operational management and coaching to CEOs and Vice Presidents of venture backed software start-ups. A sample of projects include: Interim CEO at Mobilize, Inc., a Colorado-based software company in the mobility applications market; Chairman and Chief Operating Officer for SHC Ambeo, a Colorado-based software company in the privacy and performance management market; Interim VP of Services for Documentum, a California-based software company in the document management market.

Involved in technology selection for next generation, object oriented product design and implementation of the first mobile sales force automation solution in the marketplace.
