Students minoring in Sustainable Development come from departments and colleges across campus. Since the minor’s inception in fall 2006, more than fifty students have graduated with a minor in Sustainable Development, and as of spring 2012 approximately 30 students are declared in the minor. Graduates from the minor have gone on to work for local and regional sustainability-related organizations, state wildlife and water quality agencies, careers in teaching, and to graduate programs in a variety of fields.
The minor can be added to just about any major offered at UCCS. For more information about how the minor can be incorporated with your selected major contact the Director of the Sustainable Development Minor.
