The UCCS Office of Sustainability unites the efforts of faculty, staff and students to support development and lifestyles on campus and in the community that sustain natural resources and protect the environment, ultimately ensuring the ability of future generations to meet their needs too.

Opportunities within public transportaion

Several transportation advocacy meetings are providing the opportunity for students, alumni, and community to provide ideas and feedback regarding the state of public transportation in the city.

UCCS Partners with the EPA

 The EPA's Green Power Partnership is a voluntary program that encourages organizations to use clean energy to reduce the environmental impact assoicated with electricity use. So far, UCCS has reduced carbon dioxide emissions eqivalant to that produced by 400 passenger cars in a year.  Read more...
