The UCCS School of Public Affairs is located in the middle of Colorado Springs, part military town (home to U.S. Northern Command, the U.S. Air Force Academy and several important military bases) and part technology/aerospace enclave. Colorado Springs city government, more than 1700 nonprofit organizations, and El Paso County are also major employers. Colorado Springs is the perfect location for a School of Public Affairs. The School of Public Affairs (SPA) offers an accredited Master of Public Administration degree and a Master of Criminal Justice degree, as well as one undergraduate degree for Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice.
