Christy Lofton has began teaching at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs in 2010 after completing both her undergraduate and graduate work at the university. Her interests include inequality & privilege, diversity & education awareness, criminology, as well as qualitative and quantitative research in general. She currently teaches Research Methods and Social Statistics, both face to face and online, Power, Privilege & Social Difference, and Introduction into Sociology. Christy also enjoys mentoring and supporting students through the undergraduate process. She has also taught for CSU-Pueblo, Pikes Peak Community College & the University of Phoenix.
