While filling out your application, it is important that you apply for the Sport Management program in the College of Business. Once you have completed your UCCS application, you will be prompted to complete an additional supplemental application specific to the Sport Management Program.  This supplemental application is in place to aid the Sport Management Department Admission Process.

As a ‘Program of Distinction’ candidates are evaluated on multiple criteria:  High School GPA (including a review of specific courses attempted, grades on core courses, and recent semester trends), ACT or SAT scores, participation in sport, sport-related, and community activities, and the supplemental application for the Sport Management program.

Because this program has limited spaces, in general, students who are strong candidates for the program have high school/transfer GPAs above 3.3 and ACT scores of 23+ and SAT scores of 1100+.  Although there is no requirement to be a current or past athlete, all sport candidates also need to demonstrate a sttong commitment to the world of sport.
