VHS cassettes are another common source for video in the classroom, but unfortunately these cassettes are reaching the end of their life cycle having been replaced by DVD's and most recently Blu-Ray discs and online streaming media sources.

The IT Department strongly recommends you legally transfer any VHS media to a more modern format such as DVD.  The TLC and Media services departments on campus can assist you with this project.  We do not have a fixed sunset date for dropping support for VHS in our smart classrooms, but we will be forced to drop support eventually when the hardware breaks down and repair or replacement is no longer practical.
