Student Life and Leadership works to enhance the educational experience of all students by facilitating personal growth and leadership opportunities outside of the classroom. Upcoming Events Safe Zone Training Safe Zone training is designed to educate students, faculty, staff and community members about the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.Safe Zone training is designed to educate students, faculty, staff, and community members about the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community. Safe Zone is an allies training that will explore terminology, the coming out process, gender identity and how to be a supportive ally of the LGBT community. Safe Zone training is also available upon request for classroom or club presentations.

Clubs UCCS has over 200 clubs and organizations that are always looking for members who are eager to be involved and become leaders. Join a club as a member, an officer, or take the plunge and create your own club. Student Life and Leadership will be here to help you along the way.
If you're a club officer, make sure you attend one of our Club Orientations to learn how to make the most of your resources. Student Life and Leadership has also provided online access to our club training materials.
Volunteer Engagement in the campus and local communities is a great way to build leadership and interpersonal skills while pursuing a cause you feel passionately about.V.I.N.C.E.can connect you to to local community service opportunities.
