Some important changes have been made to the fall 2010 registration process because of the new CU Student System.
Registration. In order to register, you will now use the myUCCS Student Portal located at the following link: my.uccs.edu. To logon, you will use your UCCS username and password - these are what you use to access campus computers and webmail. Once you are in the system, you will find your date and time to register. If you are having trouble logging onto the system, contact the IT department at 719-255-3536 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Course Numbering. All course numbers are now 4-digits. A zero has been added to the end of each course. For example, ENGL 131 is now ENGL 1310. This change will be reflected on your transcripts, degree audits, and in the course schedule. (See PDF below for more information.)
In our estimate, these are very positive changes for our students. The new system (ISIS) will provide an improved registration experience plus access to more information to help students conduct their business with the university. By requiring a deposit, it means that you will not have to make another tuition payment until September 9th.
The UCCS faculty and staff are committed to making this new registration process go as smoothly as possible for you. Over the next month the university will be providing workshops and other resources to help you out.
