Important Election Dates
January 28, 2013- Publicize elections/ start accepting applications
** The Election commission is currently reviewing the Election Posting Policy. We highly recommend that you refrain from purchasing any campaign material until after the Candidate meeting.**
February 18, 2013- Applications due by 1:45 PM in the Student Life and Leadership Office
*Applications may be emailed to email@example.com or turned in personally to the Student Life and Leadership Office UC 102**
· Mandatory Info. Session 2:00 PM in UC 126
o *Must notify the Election Commission in advance if you are unable to attend*
· - Posting/campaigning begins immediately after Info Session
February 18, 2013-Ballot initiative deadline at 1:45 PM-all ballot initiatives must have passed by SGA by this time **MUST ATTEND INFO SEESSION**
February 18, 21, 25, 28 &March 4, 7- Campaign Poster Approval (Poster must be submitted by 12PM by email on the approval days)
All candidates must attend the Info Session before campaigning. No campaigning will be allowed until you have attended the candidate meeting. Posters can be approved immediately following the Session. *Any posters not approved at these times will not be allowed to be used*
March 5, 2013- Candidate Panel at 6:30 PM in the Upper Lodge
March 11-15, 2013- Elections
March 18, 2012- Results announced by 2 PM
* Email campaign posters to firstname.lastname@example.org*
All campaign posters must be approved by the Election Commission and the staff at the information desk in the bottom of the University Center.
