BIO: I am a sophomore in the Pre-Nursing program.  This is my second year living on campus and my second year in RHA.  I love swing dancing and blues dancing, and I love playing D&D.  It is housing's time to shine!

Bio:  My name is Jacqueline Battung. Most people know me as Jax. I was a resident assistant from August 2012-October 2013. I currently work the Monarch Front Desk. I am a Health Science major with an emphasis in Sports Conditioning and Training, and a minor in Gerontology. This is my first semester in RHA executive board. I plan to build a stronger community by proposing, advertising, and organizing events for the housing villages.

Itzel Castaneda

BIO: Itzel C. graduated from Sierra High School. She attends UCCS and is currently earning a BA (Bachelor of Arts) in Political Science, with a minor in Law. She plans to earn her MPA (Master of Public Administration) and JD (Juris Doctor) and attain a Ph.D. in Leadership, Research and Foundations. She currently works in the Dean's Office at the College of Education as an Administrative Assistant. She has experience working as a Peer Mentor and Teaching Assistant for programs like Pre-Collegiate Development; Jump Start; and Freshmen Seminar. Itzel is the coordinator for the Hispanic Scholarship Fund Scholar Chapter. She is a committee representative at El Pomar Foundation. Her ultimate goal is to see students, peers, and co-workers become leaders and succeed.

Jessica Bartunek

BIO: My name is Jessica Bartunek, I was born and raised in a small town in Connecticut. I spent my first year of college at Central Connecticut State University before I transferred to the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. I am a junior and an Organizational and Strategic Communication major with a business minor. When I was sixteen I got a job at an ice cream barn in Connecticut, in which have worked for the past 5 summers. I ended my career at the Ice cream barn as a manager of which I managed more than 20 people. In the past I have been involved in a multitude of organizations, ranging from working with special needs children to habitat for humanity. I currently have two leadership positions on campus: National communications Chair for the Residence Hall Association and Outreach Liaison for The Hispanic Scholarship Fund. Throughout my life, I hope to make a difference to the world, even if it is in slightest way.
