Welcome to the new UCCS Office of Research and Innovation web site. During the past decade, the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS) has experienced tremendous growth in enrollment, course offerings, and campus facilities. In the last ten years, our extramural funding has grown from three million to over nine million dollars annually. In addition to this substantial increase in funding, the number of faculty submitting proposals for external funding has grown 40%. Our expanded research efforts are not supplanting our commitment to educating undergraduate and graduate students, but are invigorating our teaching and creating links between theory and practice to allow our students, and those beyond our walls, to understand the world around them in a broader context.
