For most parking lots, A VALID PERMIT MUST BE DISPLAYED ON YOUR VEHICLE BY THE FIRST DAY OF CLASSES, June 10, 2013. There is NO "grace period." Tickets WILL be written for violations the first day of the semester. Please read the following information regarding parking options. Owning a permit, without displaying the permit, will result in a ticket. Permits sold are valid for the fall semester only and will expire August 2, 2013 (unless explicitly stated otherwise).
Cars violating parking regulations will be subject to ticket and/or tow. Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis. Purchasing a permit entitles you to park in certain parking lots on campus. YOU ARE NOT PURCHASING A RESERVED PARKING SPACE. Students should direct all inquiries concerning parking/traffic to Parking Services at 719-255-3528.

These permits are valid in all HUB areas for the week(s) indicated on the permit. Not valid in visitor parking located on the ramp leading to level 3 or level 3 of the parking garage, NUMBERED-STALLS. These permits are usually non-refundable except in extenuating circumstances.

Commuter Students who do not purchase a parking permit may park at the Four Diamonds Sports Complex, 5025 North Nevada Avenue. No permit is required. The student Safety and Transportation fee provides students with free shuttle service from Four Diamonds to the main campus. Overnight parking (12 a.m. - 6 a.m.) at the Four Diamonds area is prohibited.
All students are automatically charged a Safety and Transportation fee. This fee is not a parking fee and is not used for parking facilities. This fee is used to provide enhanced police services and shuttle services from far parking lots to the campus.
University Hall (Lot N) and Four Diamonds Sports Complex are serviced by a transportation system. The Four Diamonds shuttle runs fall, spring, and summer semesters only from 7:05 a.m. to 10:35 p.m. Monday-Friday. If you plan to park at the Four Diamonds, please see the schedule. Due to increased demand on this system, students parking at the Four Diamonds should anticipate arriving 30 minutes prior to the start of their first class.
Service to University Hall, Alpine Village, and Timberline Village at Sunset Creek: For detailed information on service to University Hall, Alpine Village and Timberline Village at Sunset Creek, see the on-line schedule.
All permit costs must be paid at the time the permit is picked up and cannot be billed to the student's account. The Parking Office accepts cash, checks, Mastercard, VISA, American Express, and Discover. Student's may also elect to have their permit mailed to their home via regular mail by purchasing their permit on-line and agreeing to pay a $4.00 shipping and handling charge.
Summer 2013 permits may be returned for a full refund through June 17, 2013.
The Safety and Transportation fee is refunded only if Admissions and Records refund all other fees. The refund of this fee is done in accordance with the calendar on page 4 of the Schedule of Courses and follows the refund schedule for all tuition and fees.
