UCCS Parking Facility

Approved by the Board of Regents on April 24, 2003, the new UCCS parking garage will be home to 500 parking spaces.  Located in the heart of campus, east of Columbine Hall, the top floor of the three-floor parking garage will also be the new home for visitor parking.

On the east side of the parking garage a new Public Safety Building is also under construction.  This building will provide service and office space for the University Police, Parking Services, Transportation Services, Environmental Health and Safety, Risk Management and the Student Health Center.

Construction of the parking garage and Public Safety Building are scheduled to be completed by Fall 2004 classes.

*Because of state laws, state monies may not be used for any parking purposes on campus. This means that construction, improvement, and maintenance of all parking facilities at UCCS are financed solely through permit sales, the student Safety and Transportation fee, parking fines, and daily permit dispensers. Annual revenues from parking must be sufficient to satisfy reasonable operating expenses and to repay revenue bonds sold to construct parking facilities.
