Parking Fines

Most Parking Regulations are enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There are some exceptions:

  1. Visitor parking (including meters) is enforced Monday-Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and on Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. during fall, spring and summer semesters.
  2. Requirement to display a HUB parking permit is enforced Monday-Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and on Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. during fall, spring and summer semesters.
  3. Requirement to display a Resident permit for Lot 9 and Level 5 ramp and Level and 5 of the parking garage is enforced Monday through Friday 24 hours a day during the fall, spring and summer semesters.

Greetings:  In accordance with CRS 73-23-5-107, The Governing Board of any state institution of higher education is authorized to promulgate rules and regulations providing for the operation and parking of vehicles upon the grounds, driveways, or roadways within the property under the control of the governing board.  Such rules and regulations may include, but not be limited to, regulation of the following offenses:

8 3-2-A  Parked in roadway $30.00
9 4-1-W  Parked in compact car space $30.00
10 2-2-F Parked in handicapped space without proper parking decal/placard and/or misuse of handicapped placard.
