Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

Description/purpose: This course is designed to enable employees to provide adult CPR as needed.
Contents:

• American Heart - Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation techniques for adults
• Hands-on practice with models and CPR dummies
• Information on heart defibulator (new device treatment for heart attack victims).

Who should attend: All employees & students, that work with or near electrical hazards, provide first aid or have an interest in CPR.
Training frequency: Initial and renewed every two years
Length of course: 2-3 hours, depending on audience size and questions
Course Schedule: The UCCS Police provides this training via the EHS training facility. There is a nominal fee to cover the CPR manual & CD, training, and certificate. Schedule
