For all permit-restricted parking lots, A VALID PERMIT MUST BE DISPLAYED ON YOUR VEHICLE BY THE FIRST DAY OF CLASSES, January 20, 2015. There is NO "grace period." Tickets WILL be written for violations the first day of the semester. Please read the following information regarding parking options. Cars violating parking regulations will be subject to ticket and/or immobilization. Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis. Purchasing a permit entitles you to park in certain parking lots on campus. YOU ARE NOT PURCHASING A RESERVED PARKING SPACE. Direct all inquiries concerning parking to Parking Services at 719-255-3528.
Free parking options are available. See non-permit restricted parking areas below.

Commuter Students who do not purchase a parking permit may park in any 500 series lots located at and near the Four Diamonds Sports Complex, 5025 North Nevada Avenue. No permit is required. The student Safety and Transportation fee provides students with free shuttle service to and from the Four Diamonds Sports Complex to the main campus.
All students are automatically charged a Safety and Transportation fee. This fee is not a parking fee and is not used for parking facilities. This fee is used to provide enhanced police services and shuttle services from far parking lots to the campus.
University Hall (Lot 100) and the Four Diamonds Sports Complex are serviced by a shutle system. The Four Diamonds shuttle runs fall, spring, and summer semesters only from 6:40 a.m. to 10:35 p.m. Monday-Friday. If you plan to park at the Four Diamonds, please see the shuttle schedule. Due to increased demand on this system, students parking at the Four Diamonds should anticipate arriving 30 minutes prior to the start of their first class.
Service From Centennial Hall to University Hall: For detailed information on service to University Hall, from Centennial Hall, see the on-line schedule.
Student's may elect to have their permit mailed to their home via regular mail by purchasing their permit on-line and agreeing to pay a $4.00 shipping and handling charge. This is an excellent alternative to having to wait in long lines at Parking Services to purchase a permit.
Spring 2015 permits may be returned for a full refund through February 4, 2015.
The Safety and Transportation fee is refunded only if Admissions and Records refund all other fees. The refund of this fee is done in accordance with the calendar on page 4 of the Schedule of Courses and follows the refund schedule for all tuition and fees.
*Safety and Transportation Fee is automatically billed to all students, regardless of credit hour load.
