Commuter Students who do not purchase a parking permit may park in any 500 series lots located at and near the Ent Center for the Arts complex (formerly known as the Four Diamonds Sports Complex), 5225 North Nevada Avenue. No permit is required. The student Safety and Transportation fee provides students with free shuttle service to and from the Ent Center for the Arts complex to the main campus.
All students are automatically charged a Safety and Transportation fee. This fee is not a parking fee and is not used for parking facilities. This fee is used to provide enhanced police services and shuttle services from far parking lots to the campus. For the Fall 2015 semester, this fee will be $84.70.
University Hall (Lot 100) and the Ent Center for the Arts complex (formerly known as the Four Diamonds Sports Complex) are serviced by a shutle system. The Ent Center for the Arts shuttle runs fall, spring, and summer semesters only from 6:40 a.m. to 10:35 p.m. Monday-Friday. If you plan to park at the Ent Center for the Arts, please see the shuttle schedule. Due to increased demand on this system, students parking at the Ent Center for the Art area parking lots should anticipate arriving 30 minutes prior to the start of their first class.
Service From Alpine Village to Centennial Hall to University Hall: For detailed information on service to Alpine Village, University Hall, and Centennial Hall, see the on-line schedule.
Student's may elect to have their permit mailed to their home via regular mail by purchasing their permit on-line and agreeing to pay a $4.00 shipping and handling charge. This is an excellent alternative to having to wait in long lines at Parking Services to purchase a permit.
Fall 2015 permits may be returned for a full refund through September 10, 2015.
The Safety and Transportation fee is refunded only if Admissions and Records refund all other fees. The refund of this fee is done in accordance with the calendar on page 4 of the Schedule of Courses and follows the refund schedule for all tuition and fees.
*Safety and Transportation Fee is automatically billed to all students, regardless of credit hour load.
