What is MindQuest?

  • Mind Quest is a school-year program for academically motivated students IN GRADES 3-12.
  • Mind Quest is a half day long workshop that focuses on a specific STEM topic.
  • Mind Quest is taught in an inquiry-based curriculum that engages students in hands-on exploration of what makes our world work.

When is MindQuest?

  •  Mind Quest is offered on Saturdays.
  • Mind Quest is offered twice in the Fall and twice in the Spring on the UCCS campus.
  • For most workshops, grades 3-5 attend the morning session (9am - noon) and grades 6-12 attend the afternoon session (1-4pm), but we occasionally have to change the sessions due to enrollment numbers, and on occasion, we find it best to combine all age groups into one session (they are always separated by age).

Who Teaches MindQuest?

  •  Our courses are taught by educators, scientists, military and industry professionals who bring STEM to life.

 What does MindQuest cost?

  •  The cost for 2014-15 MindQuest workshops is:
  • $40 for middle and high school students (grades6-12)
  • $35 for ELEMENTARY STUDENTS (grades 3-5)
  • The fees are different for the March 2-day workshop: $65 for elementary and $75 for middle & high school
