Our MindQuest Workshops for the  2013-14 year are now over.
See you next year!

What is MindQuest?

  • Mind Quest is a school-year program for academically motivated students IN GRADES 3-12.
  • Mind Quest is a half day long workshop that focuses on a specific STEM topic.
  • Mind Quest is taught in an inquiry-based curriculum that engages students in hands-on exploration of what makes our world work.

When is MindQuest?

  •  Mind Quest is offered on Saturdays.
  • Mind Quest is offered twice in the Fall and four times in the Spring on the UCCS campus.
  • For most workshops, grades 3-8 attend the morning session (9am - noon) and grades 9-12 attend the afternoon session (1-4pm), but we occasionally have to change the sessions due to enrollment numbers, and on occasion, we find it best to combine all age groups into one session.

Who Teaches MindQuest?

  •  Our courses are taught by educators, scientists, military and industry professionals who bring STEM to life.

 What does MindQuest cost?

  •  The cost for 2012-2013 MindQuest workshops is:
  • $35 for PIPES enrolled MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL students, and $55 for non-enrolled students (we are not enrolling new students into our PIPES research at this time)
  • $35 for ELEMENTARY STUDENTS (grades 3-5)
