PGM Facilities
The PGA Golf Management Program is housed in beautiful Dwire Hall whose front window facade provides a stunning view of nearby Pikes Peak and the Rocky Mountains. The PGA Golf Management Program has its own suite of offices, a student resource room, and conference room. Located conveniently in the PGM Program area are both the state-of-the-art Swing and Club Repair Labs.

The PGA Golf Management Program at UCCS is one of the few programs in the country with an indoor computerized practice facility. The equipment in the swing lab was graciously donated by Denver–based GolfTEC whose patented g-SWING System is unique in the golf industry. This system offers a fact-based approach that eliminates the guesswork in the instruction process by using digital video, motion analysis, biofeedback and comparing the student’s swing to a tour database. Students can use the system to receive instruction or for daily practice. Our program also possesses a state of the art Golf Achiever Simulator where students can play The Old Course in St. Andrews, Scotland along with Pebble Beach and many other championship courses around the world. The Golf Achiever also has the capability of diagnosing students swing speeds, ball flight and other useful information to help them improve their games.

Pine Creek Golf Club

Pine Creek Golf Course
Pine Creek Golf Club, the Program’s home course, is located about ten minutes from the campus. This daily fee course has challenged Colorado’s golfers since 1988. Our students enjoy playing and practice privileges as members at this facility, as well as discounted prices on merchandise.

Over 7000 yards from the tips, PCGC offers both target and links golf experiences. The practice area includes a 360-yard driving range with multiple tees, a putting green, and a chipping green with bunkers.

PCGC is often the site of the Playing Ability Test required to complete the program. As a Nike Concept Store, the golf shop operates as a “PGA Model Shop.” The clubhouse includes a full-service restaurant.

In addition to PCGC, the Pikes Peak region boasts many other golf courses that are accessible to PGA Golf Management students.
