The Program Director is Mrs. Mollie Sutherland. Mollie is a Class A member of the PGA of America and LPGA Teaching and Club Professional Division. She has extensive experience in the management and daily operations of both private clubs and high-end daily fee facilities. She has worked for private owners, management companies and member-owned club operations for over ten years. She has worked at properties in Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and Colorado. During her career she has served many roles in the industry including Player Service Attendant to Assistant General Manager. She was the first female Head Golf Professional in the state of Nevada.

Mollie earned a scholarship and played on the University of New Mexico Women's Golf Team from 1993-1997. She graduated with a Degree in Education in 1998. She is married to Mark Sutherland who is also a Class A member of the PGA of America. They have a daughter, Bethany and son, Michael.

PGM Internship Coordinator Mr. Mark Bacheldor is a Class A Member of the PGA of America and a native of Aurora, Colorado. As the PGA Head Golf Professional at Eisenhower Golf Club on the United States Air Force Academy, he managed and supervised the daily operations of the #1 Golf Course in the Department of Defense. Under his direction, the staff and site hosted over 60,000 rounds and 80 tournaments annually on its 36-holes in Colorado Springs, CO.
Mark graduated from the UCCS College of Business in the PGA Golf Management Program in 2008. His experience as a UCCS PGA PGM Student Intern and Internship Site brings invaluable experience to his role. He joins the PGA PGM Team excited to coordinate internships, mentor student development and instruct PGA PGM 2.0 Courses.

Mr. Chad Miller is Director of Player Development and is a Class A Member of the PGA of America. After earning a degree in Electrical Engineering, he pursued a career in the golf industry where he has been a Head Golf Professional, Teaching Professional and Director of Instruction for more than 20 years.Chad's passion for golf instruction has enabled him to teach over 7,000 golf lessons and custom club fittings as the Director of Instruction for GolfTec since 2007. His broad-based experience in leading clinics, managing tournaments, merchandise, and day-to-day operations will benefit our students.
Academic Advisor

The Academic Advisor is Dr. Paul Miller, who is also Professor of Accounting in the College of Business. Starting early in 2000, Paul headed up the extensive team-based effort at UCCS to create the PGA Golf Management Program and obtain initial accreditation from the PGA. His present responsibilities involve working with the curriculum, the faculty, the admissions process, and especially the students. He is very pleased to have a position that combines his dual loves for young people and golf.
Paul joined the business faculty in 1988, moving to Colorado Springs from Washington, DC, where he had been serving on the staff of the Securities & Exchange Commission. Prior to that, he had been a long time member of the faculty at the University of Utah. He also served on the staff of the prestigious Financial Accounting Standards Board.
In addition to his success in bringing PGA Golf Management to UCCS, Paul has been a busy author, with more than 16 books to his name, and more than 200 other publications. He is sought out by journalists and others for his views, and is a frequent speaker on topics related to financial reporting and regulation.
Paul continues to teach in the accounting area while serving as the PGA Golf Management Program's Academic Advisor.
He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin and holds two other degrees from Rice University.

Rosey Reidl-Smith

Rosey handles many of the Administrative tasks for the PGA Golf Management Program. She is originally from Dover, Ohio. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management from Campbell University in North Carolina in 2005. Her husband Beau also graduated from Campbell from their PGA Golf Management program and currently is a PGA Professional at Colorado Springs Country Club. Before being hired at UCCS, Rosey was employed at the 5 Star – 5 Diamond Broadmoor Resort in Colorado Springs, CO.
