Would you like to learn and challenge yourself for 5 weeks this summer?

WHAT IS UNITE?
UNITE is a summer program for talented high school students historically underrepresented and underserved in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) subjects.

The program encourages and helps prepare students to pursue a college education in engineering and related fields, as part of a national initiative to develop a talented and trained STEM workforce.

UNITE is funded by the U.S. Army through its Army Educational Outreach Program (AEOP), and coordinated by the Technology Student Association (TSA) a national, non-profit organization of middle and high school students.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES
  • Effectively show students the real-world applications of math and science
  • Raise student confidence in the ability to participate in engineering activities
  • Inspire students to consider engineering majors in college
  • Remove social barriers and negative attitudes about engineering
  • Promote collaboration and problem-solving in a team environment
  • Increase the number of STEM graduates to fill the projected shortfall of scientists and engineers in national and Department of Defense (DoD) careers
