Thinking about a career in a STEM field?

Curious about what it will take to be successful in an Engineering Program in High School?

Would you like to learn and challenge yourself for 5 weeks this summer, earning $500.00 at the end of the program?

If you answered YES to these questions and match the following qualifications, look below for instructions on how to apply for this amazing opportunity!

                                   Qualifications for 2013 UNITE:
  1. Graduating from High School May 2014 (spring 2013 junior)
  2. Minimum GPA of 2.70
  3. Minimum ACT score of 20 (or minimum PLAN score of 18)
  4. Interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
  5. Review the Schedule (click here to view) & make sure you can commit to the time!

Simply follow these intructions to apply!

1) Print the UNITE Participant Application and fill it out completely.

2) Print two Recommendation Forms and get 1  filled out by a math teacher & 1 by a science teacher  - a total of two (2) must be completed

3) Write your Essay

  • Minimum 500 words
  • Typed (double spaced)
  • TOPIC: Explain your interest in pursuing a higher education degree in a STEM related field. Discuss how enrolling in UNITE will assist you in continuing to learn more in your area of interest.

4) Obtain a copy of your most recent transcript

5) Obtain a copy of your ACT score(s) or PLAN Assessment score

6) Click each form below to download & print the document. Fill each out and sign appropriately.

 

 

Once you have all of the above materials completed, put them together in a packet and drop off or mail the packet to our office:
*Note: Students with incomplete applications will NOT be eligible for admission.
