Anthony Cordova started at UCCS as a first semester freshman in 1994 as a forty year old, first generation, single parent with four children, after 21 years as a heavy equipment operator. He was very involved as both an undergrad and a graduate student, with experience as a peer mentor, academic advisor, SGA student senator, and University Center maintenance person. In 2000 Anthony was hired as an academic advisor who was responsible for advising transfer students, then assistant director of the Pre Collegiate Development Programs before assuming the position of Student Multicultural Affairs Coordinator in 2003.

Jesse Perez is originally from Las Cruces, New Mexico and started his career at UCCS as an undergraduate student. As a student, Jesse was involved in various multicultural student organizations focused on diversity and inclusion including being an officer of the Student Diversity Council and Co-Chair of our campus's LGBTQIA organization Spectrum.   

During his time at UCCS Jesse has held positions in the Pre-Collegiate Development Program, Center for Excellence in Communication, UCCS SoColo Reach Program, and Academic Advising.  Jesse Perez also previously served as the Office Manager and Mentorship Program Coordinator for MOSAIC as a graduate student and was a member of the UCCS LGBTQ Taskforce that initiated the partnership between The Pikes Peak Gay and Lesbian Community Center (The PRIDE Center) and UCCS that led to the development of the LGBT Resource Center at MOSAIC.  Outside of his staff duties, he also teaches a Gateway Program Seminar, is the staff advisor for Spectrum and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund Scholar Chapter, and volunteers for various nonprofit organizations in the community.

Brian grew up in Nebraska where he attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney and earned degrees in Business - Economics and German. During his undergraduate career, he served on the Council to Multicultural Affairs and was president of the Queer Straight Alliance. He was also a member of Alpha Mu Gamma, the Foreign Language Honor Society. Brian is currently studying Student Affairs in Higher Education here at UCCS.

Agatha Graselia grew up in Jakarta, Indonesia until the age of 16 when she moved to Colorado Springs and attended Pikes Peak Christian High School. She graduated high school in 2014, and has been a part of the UCCS community ever since. Her passions include fusion dancing, reading, exploring new foods, and binge watching Netflix. She is currently pursuing a degree in accounting here at UCCS. She is well-travelled as she has been to most countries in Asia. Agatha has a very diverse cultral background as she was exposed to various cultures since a young age, also because she went to an International School until 10th grade.

Carlene Gray is a junior studying Leadership Communication here at UCCS. Carlene is from the Caribbean Island of Trinidad and Tobago, and is now a U.S. and Colorado Springs resident for the past 5 ½ years. She is also a member of UCCS Radio and the host of "Subliminal Sports Messages," a weekly sports show. Carlene loves sports and is a fan of all sports particularly football, basketball, and tennis. She loves to have fun, enjoys connecting with others of a diverse background, and presenting on topics of empowerment. She is an innovative speaker and writer, and is passionate about inspiring others. Carlene is a Rising Star Award recipient, a Reisher and Karen Possehl Women's Endowment scholar. She was the keynote speaker at Pikes Peak Community College MLK day 2016, presented at the International Women's Day at the Pinery on the Hill 2015, and participant of UCCSLead. Carlene enjoys spending time watching HGTV programs such as House Hunters and Property Brothers. Above her love of sports and her myriad of talents, Carlene's greatest joy comes from teaching her nephew valuable wisdoms of life, sharing in his achievements, spending quality time and having fun with him.
