Anthony Cordova started at UCCS as a first semester freshman in 1994 as a forty year old, first generation, single parent with four children, after 21 years as a heavy equipment operator. He was very involved as both an undergrad and a graduate student, with experience as a peer mentor, academic advisor, SGA student senator, and University Center maintenance person. In 2000 Anthony was hired as an academic advisor who was responsible for advising transfer students, then assistant director of the Pre Collegiate Development Programs before assuming the position of Student Multicultural Affairs Coordinator in 2003.

Vanessa E. Delgado was born in El Paso Texas, attended Texas A&M University where she earned a B.S. Degree in Psychology in 2009 and a M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Northern Arizona University in 2012.  While at Texas A&M, she worked to aid in the establishment of the Gay Lesbian Bisexual and Transgender Resource Center in 2007 - the first stand-alone GLBT Resource Center at a public institution in the state of Texas.  In the summer of 2011 Northern Arizona University founded the Office of LGBTQA Resources and Support, where Vanessa served as the Graduate Assistant responsible for all programming initiatives.  Vanessa is passionate about serving the LGBT community and spreading awareness about LGBT topics in traditionally conservative areas.

Shelby was born in Ohio, but spent the majority of her time living in Cañon City with her parents and younger sister. Shelby graduated high school from Cañon City High School and then began her undergraduate studies at Colorado State University-Pueblo (CSU-Pueblo). Shelby graduated Cum Laude from CSU-Pueblo with a bachelor's in English and two minors in Women's Studies and Professional Writing. During her tenure at CSU-Pueblo, Shelby received the Student Life and Leadership "Champion for Diversity" award, served as a CSU-Pueblo Student Ambassador for the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU), and was a member of both Golden Key International Honour Society and Sigma Tau Delta-the English Honors Society. Shelby is currently pursuing her Master's in Public Administration with concentrations in Public Management and Non-Profit Fund Development through the School of Public Affairs at UCCS.

Jeanine was born in New York City and moved to South Florida when she was a child. Her mother is Puerto Rican and her father was part Colombian. She attended Florida Atlantic University; during this time she studied abroad in Europe, Africa, and South America. She graduated in 2006 with a B.A. in Philosophy and a B.A in Political Science. She also has a minor in Spanish, a certificate in Women's Studies, and a certificate in Ethics, Law & Society.  

After college she decided to pursue a career as a teacher in Florida K-12 education.  While teaching, she met a wonderful social sciences instructor named Sam. They have been married for over 4 years and live with their two dog-children, Manny and Wilson. In 2013 Sam accepted a job in Colorado Springs which prompted them to relocate to the Pikes Peak Region. Jeanine decided that it would be a perfect time to continue her education

When Jeanine is not working you can usually find her up in the Colorado high country prospecting for gold or minerals. She loves playing in the dirt! She also enjoys horseback riding, camping, live music, and learning new languages.

Brian grew up in Nebraska where he attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney and earned degrees in Business - Economics and German. During his undergraduate career, he served on the Council to Multicultural Affairs and was president of the Queer Straight Alliance. He was also a member of Alpha Mu Gamma, the Foreign Language Honor Society. Brian is currently studying Student Affairs in Higher Education here at UCCS.
