Project Success
We are piloting a program that will give individualized attention to participants. Learn valuable skills that will help you achieve your academic goals. Program participants receive individual attention weekly from one of our qualified tutors.
This program will focus on your SUCCESS not only in mathematics but in your college career. Download an application or email mlc@uccs.edu for more information.
Stop in at the MLC anytime during operating hours for free tutoring and homework help. Our tutors are undergraduate and graduate students who major in mathematics, physics and engineering. See their pictures and biographies below.
Please go to the Mathematics Department Website for more information.
For students who prefer private tutoring, referrals to local tutors are available.
If you would like to be added to our referral list as a private tutor, please fill out the attached form and return it to the MLC in ENG 136.
Want to tutor for the MLC?
Print and fill out the application, AND our availability form and return both to the MLC, in Engineering 136.
Contact Jenny Dorrington at 262-3129 (jdorring@uccs.edu) for more information.

Joyce
Joyce is a doctoral student in mathematics. She has a B.S. in Physics and an M.S. in mathematics, so she can tutor both math and physics courses. |
Patrick
Patrick is a mathematics and physics double major. He is interested in video games, math and physics. His strongest area in math is calculus, and his favorite area is combinatorics.
Robyn
Robyn is a mathematics graduate student. She is also teaching College Algebra this semester for the Mathematics Department.
Carl
Carl is a mathematics, physics, and civil engineering triple major. He loves all areas of mathematics, but is particularly interested in Algebra and Calculus.
Shane
Shane is graduate student pursuing a Master's in electrical engineering.

Brian
I am a junior electrical engineering student and a Colorado native. I love golf and hockey. I have had a lot of good math and physics professors at UCCS and that is why I like tutoring so much. I really like Differential Equations and Calc III the best but all areas interest me (even Complex math!). If you see me around campus or in the lunch room don't be afraid to stop and talk or ask a question!

David
David is a junior pursuing a BS in mechanical engineering. He loves Differential Equations and his favorite band is Smashing Pumpkins. |
Tim
Tim is currently working on a mathematics major with an emphasis in mechanical engineering. He enjoys tutoring all levels of mathematics but is strongly interested in calculus. |
